Program Description: Give your child the opportunity to learn Farsi in a fun and engaging way! This program is aligned with British Columbia’s Farsi Language curriculum, focusing on essential listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Our interactive approach makes language learning exciting through arts, culture, storytelling, and hands-on crafts.

North Shore Basketball
Days - Tuesdays 3-4pm (12 sessions total)
Location - Main Gym
Cost - $200 (T-Shirt Included)
A fast-paced, fun program focused on gameplay, skill competitions, and building real basketball confidence. Players improve shooting, ball-handling, passing, and decision-making through small-sided games and age-appropriate challenges. Lots of play, lots of action, and tons of fun for all skill levels. Every participant receives a program T-Shirt.

Steamoji - Boundary Elem - Physical Computing - Robotics/Coding 2026-2027 School Year
Thursdays - 3:00-4:30pm (Grade3-Grade5) (10 Sessions)
This term, apprentices will dive into the exciting world of coding, electronics, and robotics. Alongside learning essential coding concepts, they will also develop key problem-solving and engineering skills. Guiding them on this journey is Astro Ji, an astronaut preparing for a mission to the Moon! With Astro Ji’s help, apprentices will explore fundamental concepts in physics such as gravity, movement, and forces - while gaining hands-on experience with motors, power, electricity, and batteries. They’ll bring their learning to life using the VEX GO robotics kit and the VEX Virtual Reality environment. Through these platforms, apprentices will design, code, test, and refine their own programs to control a robotic vehicle they’ve built themselves. At Lights Up Afterschool, your child can experience the joys and benefits of musical theatre by taking part in our afterschool programs led by our talented and experienced Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools’ staff. These classes are a unique introduction to our weekend musical theatre programs and provide students with an enriching, rewarding, and most of all, fun afterschool activity right at the bell!
FALL SHOW: HERCULES!
This Fall, join Lights Up Afterschool as we travel way, way back… to Ancient Greece! Inspired by the animated film of the same name, “Hercules” is full of daring heroes, hilarious sidekicks, and menacing monsters. Our afterschool students will sing, dance, act, and shine in a mythical musical that is sure to “go the distance”!
Students will be supervised from dismissal. No need to pick up your child until 5:15pm!
Performance on the last day of classes for friends and family!
